Active transport

nullThe city is committed to the ongoing improvement of facilities that allow the community to travel along attractive and safe bike and foot paths.

Planning your trip by bike

Avoid the traffic by using the Perth Bike Network, a network of off-road shared paths, bike lanes and quiet streets. In the City of Subiaco, the Principal Shared Path is a major uninterrupted cycling route that runs along Railway Parade and Stubbs Terrace.

Bikes and trains

Bikes cannot be taken on trains during peak times:

  • 7am to 9am towards Perth
  • 4.30pm to 6.30pm away from Perth.

Bike parking is provided at all train stations, and secure undercover bike shelters are provided at selected stations. For more information, visit the Transperth website.
