Magical Park Challenge

City of Subiaco parks will be come alive and transform into a digital fantasy playground, with the Magical Park Challenge!

To celebrate Parks Week, families are invited to enter into an exciting and engaging virtual world with dinosaurs, fairies and unicorns, utilising a mobile device and the Magical Park app. Click here to see a video of Magical Park in action.  

The Magical Park Challenge will be available at four City of Subiaco parks between 4 to 18 March 2017:
 
  • Mueller Park(corner Roberts Road and Coghlan Road, Subiaco)
  • Theatre Gardens (corner Hamersley Road and Hensman Road, Subiaco)
  • Cliff Sadlier Reserve (Roberta Street and Cunningham Terrace, Daglish)
  • Lake Jualbup (corner Excelsior Street and Evans Street, Shenton Park)
The Magical Park Challenge is suitable for kids aged 6 – 11 years old. There are different games to choose from, and average play time is 30 – 60 minutes. Mobile data is required.

Download the Magical Park app for free from Google Play or the iPhone App Store. The app runs on iPhone 5+, iPad 3+ and Android devices with Compass, Gyroscope, GPS and Accelerometer sensors.

Parks Week is an annual event celebrated and organised by councils in New Zealand and Australia to raise awareness on the value of parks and open spaces, and to get families out of their living rooms and enjoying the outdoors.
