Freedom of information
The Freedom of Information Act 1992 gives the public a right to apply for access to documents held by the City of Subiaco.
It is the aim of the City of Subiaco to make information available whenever possible outside the FOI process. However, if you would like to lodge an application with the city, please refer to the City of Subiaco 2017 information statement (PDF, 895KB).
Rights to access documents
If information is not routinely available, the Freedom of Information Act 1992 provides the right to apply for documents held by the agency and to enable the public to ensure that personal information in documents held by the city is accurate, complete and up-to- date.
An FOI application must:
- be in writing
- give enough detail so that the documents requested can be identified
- give an Australian address for notification
- be lodged with the city (and payment of any applicable fees made).
