The city has opened its inaugural round of heritage grant funding.
Owners of heritage listed properties, or properties contained within a recognised conservation area, are eligible for financial assistance to improve or make urgent repairs to their property.
Eligible applicants will be entitled to claim 50 per cent of the total cost of the works, to a maximum of $5000.
Potential applicants should contact the city to discuss their proposal and to determine whether the conservation works proposed are in line with the selection criteria for grant funding.
The grants are just part of a range of incentives and assistance offered by the city to support landowners who are committed to the retention and enhancement of Subiaco's built heritage.
The heritage grants fund will run twice yearly. Applications for the current round of funding close on 7 February 2014.
