Planning students master Subiaco
Friday 9 May 2014

Subiaco residents are being asked to complete a short online survey about their experiences of and attitudes towards the Subiaco Town Centre/Rokeby Road area as part of a research study being undertaken by students from the University of Western Australia (UWA).

Survey responses will help the Urban and Regional Planning students complete their major project of developing a concept master plan for the Subiaco Town Centre/Rokeby Road area.

The project is designed to enhance students’ planning skills and knowledge by exposing them to some of the realities of conducting real-world planning and planning research. The city has provided the students with real-world information to inform the study.

The survey is open to all City of Subiaco residents and takes approximately ten minutes to complete. The survey is available online until Wednesday 21 May and hard copies are available upon request.

Complete the online survey.

In addition to the survey of residents, students will be conducting a visitors’ survey in Subiaco today, Friday 9 May. They have also undertaken land use and public life surveys to see who and how different spaces and places in the area are used.
