Friday 21 November 2014

nullThe City of Subiaco is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified artists to design and supply an artwork for a new wall at the entrance of the Rosalie Park sports facilities.

Rosalie Park recently underwent a refurbishment that has provided an improved facility for the five sporting clubs who utilise the premises. A brick wall constructed at the front of the building with potentially a second wall located on the western pavilion allocated as sites for public art in accordance with the city's public art policy.

The successful artist will receive a $9000 lump sum (plus GST) to implement the approved concept. The fee is expected to cover all materials and equipment required for design, fabrication and installation of artworks.

Artists who wish to submit a proposal have until 3pm on Thursday 11 December to do so. The project is required to be completed by 3 April, 2015.

For a complete overview of the project and entry criteria, view the art brief (PDF, 856KB).
