The City of Subiaco's museum is about to change its hours of operation.
From Tuesday 4 November, the museum’s temporary and permanent exhibitions will be open every Tuesday to Friday from 1pm to 4pm and Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm. Admission to the museum will remain free and group tours will still be available upon request.
On display at the museum is its latest exhibition, Founding ‘New Subiaco’: The Benedictine Connection, which conveys the journey of Spanish monks José Serra and Rosendo Salvado from their beginnings in Europe to their eventual separation at New Subiaco in the mid-nineteenth century.
Visitors to the museum are invited to provide their feedback on the exhibition via a short survey for the chance to win an olive tree to grow just as the monks did in the 1850s.
Subiaco Museum is located at 239 Rokeby Road, Subiaco next to Subiaco Primary School and Subiaco Library.
