The City of Subiaco celebrated National Youth Week (8 to 17 April) with Spotlight on Subi on Monday 11 April at Subiaco Library, recognising Youth Achievement Grant recipients from the past twelve months.
Over the past year, thirty-seven people aged between twelve and twenty-five shared in almost ten thousand dollars of funding as recipients of the city’s Youth Achievement Grants.
Youth Achievement Grants provide financial assistance to support young people in being active in the community, this year used for personal and professional development, leadership opportunities and participation in sporting competitions and community projects in Australia and around the world.
The city is proud to support young community members and is committed to fostering positive development and a vibrant, exciting future for young people in Subiaco.
