A little bit about George
George has been volunteering for more than forty years and has been a Meals on Wheels (MoW) volunteer in the City of Subiaco for the past three years, delivering hundreds of meals to local seniors and people with disability. Going the extra mile rather than simply delivering a meal, George has been known to recite poetry to clients, and put additional deliveries on hold to walk an elderly client to a hairdressing appointment.
