Advisory committees

The City of Subiaco has established advisory committees to enable the local community to have input into the management of key areas.

The committees provide a community forum for representatives of local businesses, affected groups and interested community members to come together to discuss issues relating to these areas. Committees are established every two years following a normal local government election.

Disability Access and Inclusion Committee

This committee exists to help the city with issues relating to disability access and inclusion within the city. The committee meets every two months or more frequently if required.

Economic and Business Sustainability Committee

This committee exists to help the city with issues relating to economic sustainability and factors affecting businesses within the city. The committee meets every two months or more frequently if required.

Property and Investment Assets Committee

This committee exists to consider the management of the city’s property and investment assets. The committee provide advice and make recommendations to Council in relation to these assets, including proposals for investment, redevelopment and/or disposal of assets.
