See Subi on Sunday - West Subiaco workers
See Subi on Sunday offers the community free guided walks through Subiaco that allow participants to
enjoy history, heritage and beauty. The walks take approximately one and a half hours to complete and are suitable for people of all ages.
The walks are conducted in a relaxed and friendly manner, with the intention of encouraging participation and pleasure.
This month, join us to learn about the colourful and important history of West Subiaco (today known as Shenton Park). Explore the locality to discover the significant developments that have occured
since George Shenton purchased land in the area in the late 1800s, including the establishment of the railway line and its significance to workers.
For the full programme of guided walks for the 2016/2017 financial year, download the See Subi on Sunday brochure (PDF, 2.4MB).
